Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants Plans


We have many health insurance options for OSCPA Members - if you have any trouble figuring out what may work best for you, please give us a call. We are here to help you! Sponsored plans are available through two different carriers:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma - features guaranteed-issue individual or employer-group plans.
  • Aetna Life Insurance Company - features fully underwritten individual plans and guaranteed issue employer-group plans.

 
 
 

Health Insurance

The OSCPA Health Insurance Plans, underwritten by Aetna Life Insurance Company, are available to individual members and their families, as well as employer-employee groups of 2 or more.

Individuals

Members of the OSCPA are elgible to apply for Association-Sponsored Individual Health Insurance Plans, underwritten by Aetna Life Insurance Company. All plans are Open Choice PPO plans - to see if your providers are included in the network, go to www.aetna.com/docfind and select "Aetna Standard Plans" and "Open Choice PPO".

  High Deductible Health Plan Options


The following High Deductible Health Plan options (HDHPs) qualify for use with a Health Savings Account. Save premium dollars by selecting a HDHP and make the money you save work for you by depositing it, tax deductible, into an HSA! To learn more about HSAs, click here.

  Quick Links

$1500/$3000 HDPD - If you only cover yourself, your deductible is $1500, or, if you cover spouse and/or child(ren), your family aggregate deductible is $3000.  Eligible medical and prescription expenses are applied to your deductible, then paid at 80% in-Network or 60% non-Network until you meet your out-of-pocket maximum.

$3000/$5950 HDHP - If you only cover yourself, your deductible is $3000, or, if you cover your spouse and/or child(ren), your family aggregate deductible is $5950.  Eligible medical and prescription expenses are applied to your deductible, then paid at 100% in-Network or 80% non-Network until you meet your out-of-pocket maximum.

$5000/$10,000 HDHP - If you only cover yourself, your deductible is $5000, or, if you cover your spouse and/or child(ren), your family aggregate deductible is $10,000.  Eligible medical and prescription expenses are applied to your deductible, then paid at 100% in-Network or 80% non-Network until you meet your out-of-pocket maximum.

  $500, $1000 and $2500 Deductible PPO Options


The $500, $1000 and $2500 Deductible plans feature a $25 Doctor Office Copay and $5 Generic Prescriptions / $50 Brand Name Prescriptions.  Once the deductible has been met, eligible expenses are covered 80% in-Network or 60% non-Network.

2+ Employer Groups

Member Firms of the OSCPA are elgible to apply for Association-Sponsored Employer Group Health Insurance Plans, underwritten by Aetna Life Insurance Company. All plans are Open Access Managed Choice PPO plans - to see if your providers are included in the network, go to www.aetna.com/docfind and select "Aetna Open Access Plans" and "Managed Choice POS (Open Access)".

Combo Plan

Employer groups of 2 or more can offer any two plans to their firm. For example, an employer could offer the $3000/$5950 HDHP to all attorneys and a $1000 deductible PPO plan to all non-attorneys.

Health Insurance

The OSCPA Health Insurance Plans, underwritten by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma, are available to individual members and their families, as well as employer-employee groups of 2 or more. Coverage is guaranteed issue, with annual open enrollment held in December for a January 1 effective date. Other eligibility periods may include:

  • Within 30 days of becoming an OSCPA member
  • Within 30 days of losing other group coverage due to employer/carrier cancellation or employment termination
  • Within 30 days of COBRA expiration
  • New Company

  • $500, $1000, $2500 Deductible PPO -

    The $500, $1000 and $2500 plans offer a $20 Doctor's Office Copay and 80% in-network and 60% non-network coinsurance after the deductible. Prescriptions are subject to a 50% copay on the $500 and $1000 deductible plans, and are subject to the medical deductible and coinsurance on the $2500 deductible plan.

  • $1500/$3000 HSA-compatible High Deductible Health Plan -

    If you only cover yourself, the deductible is $1500, or if you cover spouse and/or child(ren) the family aggregate deductible is $3000. Eligible medical and prescription expenses are applied to your deductible, then paid at 80% in-Network or 60% non-Network until you meet your out-of-pocket maximum.
