Dick Beale, Senior Vice President, Product Development

Richard A. “Dick” Beale was born and raised in South Bend, IN and attended Indiana University, where he majored in Business Administration and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. Dick began his insurance career with Indiana Insurance Company in Indianapolis in 1967. After four years of service in the Army as a Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Specialist, Dick resumed his insurance career in Dallas in 1972 with Continental Insurance Companies. Since 1980, Dick has been involved with the administration of the Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma Society of CPAs Insurance Programs. In 1986, Dick Beale purchased the business, renaming it Beale Professional Services. Dick has continued his close association with the OBA and OSCPA and has expanded the number and types of insurance programs available to members. Dick is an Advanced Chartered Benefit Consultant (ACBC) and Certified Long Term Care Consultant (CLTC).

Dick recently served as President of the American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators, is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Association of Health Insurance Advisors, the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants and a member of the OKC and State Chamber Healthcare Committees. Community Service includes participation as a stakeholder in Oklahoma Turning Point, the Oklahoma County Tobacco Free Coalition, the Oklahoma Insurance Department’s Strategic Coverage Initiative and is presently Vice President of the Health Alliance for the Uninsured.

Jennifer Beale, President

Jennifer joined the agency full-time in 1997, was made Vice President in 2003 and then President in 2011. She is a licensed Life, Accident & Health and Property-Casualty agent, and holds a Surplus Lines License. Jennifer received her BBA in Promotions Management in 1997 from the University of Central Oklahoma. She received her Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC) in 2003 and her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2009. She is a Leadership Oklahoma City Class XXVIII graduate, and is currently serving on the National Council of the American Institute of Professional Association Group Insurance Administrators (AIPAGIA).  She has also served on several grant committees for Impact Oklahoma, and is a member of Business Women’s Golf Association (BWGA), Professional Insurance Marketing Association (PIMA), Oklahoma Society of Association Executives (OSAE), alum of the Executive Women's Forum (EWF).

Janice Gilley, Senior Account Executive

Janice is our Senior Account Executive. She is a licensed Life, Accident & Health and Property-Casualty agent. She has been with BPS since 1991 and has 25+ years’ experience in the insurance industry. Her responsibilities include new business sales, customer service and account renewals.

After earning her CLTC designation (Certified in Long Term Care) in 2007, she joined the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. She has been a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Health Underwriters (OKCAHU) since 2002 and previously served on the Board of Directors for two years. Janice is also a six year member of the Business Women’s Golf Association (BWGA) and previously completed a 2-year stint serving on the BWGA Board. She enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.

Cynthia Knight, Senior Accounts Coordinator

Cynthia is our Senior Accounts Coordinator. She began her employment with Beale Professional Services (BPS) in April 2008, and brings over 20 years of accounting experience. Cynthia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University; a Masters of Business Administration in Project Management from Oklahoma Christian University; and, she is a notary public. Her responsibilities encompass the accounting functions at BPS which include: monthly financial reports, remittances to our insurance carriers, quarterly and annual insurance census reports, unique group billings, daily audits of accounts receivables, insured plan changes, and various other duties.

Ashly Epperson, Client Service Specialist

Ashly Epperson joined Beale in 2010 as an Administrative Assistant and has quickly moved up to a Customer Service and Marketing role.  Ashly coordinates all of our marketing and advertising efforts, and works on the Accountants Professional Liability and Workers' Compensation programs.  Ashly attended Oklahoma State University and has several years' experience in fast-paced, customer-oriented positions.  She enjoys spending free time with family and participating in charitable services throughout Oklahoma City. 

Michelle Schurig, Life, Accident & Health CSR

Michelle Schurig joined Beale in 2010 as a licensed Life & Health Customer Service Representative (CSR).  Michelle, a native Californian, has more than 10 years' experience in insurance customer service and account management.  She is the main point of contact for any health or dental insurance questions or changes.  Michelle obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Oklahoma City Community College in 1998.  She enjoys travelling to Las Vegas and California to visit family and friends, and spending time with her husband, Mark, and their three children.

Tammy Morgan, Accounts Coordinator

Tammy Morgan joined Beale in 2010 and is reponsible for premium billings, bank drafts, A/R, A/P and commissions.  Tammy obtained her A.S. Business degree in 2003, and brings more than 7 years' Accounting experience to the table.  Tammy is newly married. She and her husband stay busy with their 4 children in Piedmont.  Tammy enjoys country dancing, working outside in the yard and loves spending quality time with her children.

Juanita Austin, Commercial Accounts Coordinator

Juanita Austin joined Beale Professional Services in 2011 and brings over 14 years of insurance experience and over 20 years of customer service experience.  She is responsible for Professional Liability, Workers' Comp, Bond, Umbrella and Business Office Package accounts.  Juanita obtained her B.A. in Liberal Arts with a minor in Visual and Performing Arts from California State University San Marcos in 2001.  In her free time, she loves to read, travel and spend time with family and friends.

Amanda Rhoads, Client Service Specialist

Amanda Rhoads joined Beale Professional Services as a Customer Service Specialist in 2011.  Amanda brings 12 years of insurance experience along with 20 plus years of customer service.  She is responsible for Life and Disability account servicing, customer service, and account retention and sales for all lines of coverage.  After growing up in Oklahoma she moved away but since has found her way back “home”.  In her free time Amanda greatly enjoys spending time with her two girls, family, and friends.
